Plan to Open Fresh Direct HQ in Bronx Causes Stir

Plans by online grocer Fresh Direct to open its new warehouse for operations in The Bronx are not sitting well with some borough residents.
While it is expected that Fresh Direct will bring thousands of jobs to the borough, community leaders say they're not sure to what extent the new warehouse will benefit Bronx residents. Officials, however, insist that there is no cause for concern.
Local leaders plan to attend a public hearing tomorrow in Manhattan to get some answers.
