Bill de Blasio’s security detail is shielding the mayor from criticism, South Bronx activists say.

A dozen protesters, part of the anti-FreshDirect group South Bronx Unite, showed up at a softball game between the City Council and the Mayor’s Office Wednesday night at MCU Park in Coney Island.

The group wants to block the online grocer’s diesel-fueled delivery trucks from The Bronx, which studies say has some of the highest asthma rates in the nation. So it distributed fliers outside the field of the Mets’ Brooklyn Cyclones minor-league team.

But protesters were stopped by officers with the NYPD Intelligence Division, which provides mayoral protection. The cops pointed to their 20-foot banner reading, “Stop FreshDirect.”

“All the political sycophants got in with signs saying ‘Go City Hall’ or ‘Go City Council,’ ” said activist Harry Bubbins. “It’s shocking to be thrown out of a public space paid for by public money.”
